On the subject of influences, and coincidently on the day he was laid to rest, I thought I would dedicate a blog to a man I grew up listening and singing along to courtesy of my mum's record collection. I have every LP MJ ever released despite many of them being made way before I was born. For me MJ wasn't only an amazing dancer and entertainer but the epitomy of heartfelt emotion through a truely beautiful voice. His music is timeless.
Someone said via Twitter on the day of his passing; "If J Dilla saved your life, then Michael Jackson made your life" - I agree. With that I've uploaded the J Dilla remix of Michael Jackson's - "HIStory" along with a tribute mix of MJ's music. Enjoy.
