The next generation...
I absolutely love RIM and have been having an affair with BlackBerry's for a little over two years now. iPhones have never appealed to me, for some reason the idea of carrying around a Sega Game Gear with a built-in phone in my pocket and having to update the software every few weeks doesn't fill me with too much excitement.
My BlackBerry does everything I want it to do and more; built-in instant messenger, MSN messenger, Facebook, Twitter and possibly any other social networking site that someone would be interested in. Naturally as I'm due an upgrade in a couple of weeks I've got my eye open for the newest 'Berry on the block. Last month pictures and very vague information was leaked about four new BlackBerry's which are apparently due to be hitting stores in the 4th quarter of 2009. Trust me, that dont nickname it a Crackberry for nothing because right now I'm fiending to get my hands on one of these.
The new models are; Onyx, Odin, Niagara and Gemini. The Onyx is my personal favourite as I like my phones small and sleek. It's basically the second edition of The Storm and I'm hoping that they've created a new operating platform to deal with the touch screen as the one out now is full of bugs! If you're thinking about buying a BlackBerry or getting an upgrade in the next month or so, I would suggest holding out just a bit longer unless you really dont like the look of these:
Onyx
This is supposed to be just like the Curve 8900, with high quality pictures from a 3.2 mega pixel camera, except it uses the exact same battery as the Bold. Not sure if thats good or bad thing but a lot of my friends with Bolds complain about battery life.

Odin
As explained earlier this is just basically the 2nd edition of the Storm.

Niagra/Tour
Personally I think it looks exactly the same as the Javelin, it has a 3.2 mega pixel camera but the only difference being it works using the 4.6 OS where as Javelin uses 4.7?! Slightly strange, why go backwards?

Gemini
There's not much information available on this one, it clearly has a bigger and higher resolution screen in comparison to the Javelin we all love and is expected to have a 3.2 mega pixel (or maybe higher) camera. All specifics are yet to be confirmed, I'll keep you updated.
